After around 2 hours of trekking, you will reach Post 2 for a short break with tea and light snacks. The trek then continues to Post 3 (approximately 2 hours), where you will rest for about an hour and enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon, continue the ascent for another 2–3 hours to reach Crater Rim Sembalun (2,639m). Upon arrival, enjoy spectacular views over the crater and surrounding landscape. Dinner and overnight camping at the crater rim.

After enjoying the summit, descend back to the crater rim (approx. 1.5–2 hours) for breakfast and rest. Continue trekking down into the crater to Segara Anak Lake (2,000m).

Enjoy lunch, relax in the natural hot springs, and spend the night camping by the lake.

Day 3: Trekking – Lake (2,000m) to Crater Rim Senaru (2,641m)

After breakfast, begin the ascent from the lake towards Crater Rim Senaru (2,641m). This section of the trek takes approximately 3–4 hours and offers incredible views back over the lake and surrounding volcanic landscape.

Upon arrival at the crater rim, you will experience one of the most spectacular viewpoints on Rinjani. Enjoy sunset views overlooking the lake and even a distant view of Mount Agung on clear days. Dinner and overnight camping at Crater Rim Senaru.

Day 4: Trekking – Crater Rim Senaru (2,641m) to Senaru Village (601m)

After breakfast with a beautiful sunrise, begin the descent through dense tropical rainforest towards Senaru Village. The trek takes approximately 5–6 hours.
